MAORI TV DOCUMENTARY: SOUNDS OF HOPE
2010: Maori TV put the spotlight on child abuse through an incredibly moving documentary SOUNDS OF HOPE featuring Kotuku alongside Maisey Rika, Young Sid, Hollie Smith and Dallas Tamaira from Fat Freddy's Drop, under the direction of acclaimed New Zealand Film Director, Chris Graham, and saw Kotuku youth, alongside Koraunui school children, singing Sharon’s Light a Candle song for those who have no voice.

Alex Watt's "Footprints of Hope" TV series documents our 2009 walk carrying the "light a candle" song and hope torch the length of New Zealand. The two video clips below demonstrate the generosity of so many schools, communities and individuals who walked beside us or welcomed us into their whanau as we walked. "Footprints of Hope" has just completed its third screening on NZ television.
